If only you could have that ride, diamond Roley, or that phat platinum chain. Surely then, life would be fantastic. Life would be complete and happiness would be at it's peak right?.... WRONG! Materialistic things do not necessarily bring you happiness. That is a fact of life. It is a hard fact to understand sometimes, especially in a society that tries very hard to teach you otherwise. Remember, material things only bring temporary short-term happiness. And if material things bring just a temporary and short-term happiness, then what? It might mean that you have to buy material objects at a rate of perhaps one per day, just to sustain that "temporary and short-term" happiness. What a waste! So what's my point I hear you ask. Well, if you are some successful rapper, singer, lotto winner or big time business person, and can afford these things, then good for you and may the 'BLING' be with you! If however like most people, you or your folk's earn a modest amount of money, or you are simply flat broke, don't be fooled into thinking that obtaining expensive material things will bring you true eternal happiness, because it won't! If you work towards it and manage to earn more than enough to get these things, then good for you. But if not, you can still be proud of who you are. Don't worry about what you don't have, because the only thing you can take to your grave with you, is YOU. Because YOU are worth more than all the riches in the world.

PEACE! Michael Witter
